Hide your ClubFoo Badges
Since people know you are getting those extra FD for being a club member people are coming up with more begging tactics and scams than a little bit...this is one of the better ones I have heard today...

Hi. I took notice on your profile. You are a foo-member. I am not
doing this to all people with memberships but, I do know that
members get FooDollars EVERY time they log on, and every 30 days.
So, to get to my point, I was wondering if you would like to buy my
Leprechaun from my sale. He may just seem like a dumb ol'
leprechaun, but when I got him, he came with a story! How this
happened I've no idea. But, I will tell you "his story". His name
is George and he was born in Dublin, Ireland. His family abandonned
him from the potato famine. He was left with his little brother who
recently found a home. He has been to 24 different homes and all
have tried to delete him. I got him and placed him with my FooPet.
It didn't really do much. I then got a message from a FooMatrian
and it said that I needed to sell him. I think this is because I
recently talked to the people and had tough conversations about how
to breed and if they could lower the price. So, it told me to sell
it for 80 FooDollars and I am working on that glitch right now.
Please respond to this typed letter. It must have taken much of
your time, but I thank you. For more information on why I wrote to
you, write to me back. Thank you SO much,

You're right, very amusing. Nice to know that Foo members are not lacking in imagination, just FDs.

I reported this user too. I got the exact same message sent to me and I belong to fooclub too. I know we only get 5 fds a day but it not right that people prey upon others to scam them out of fds. I have hidden my foo club badge too, I think this person should be suspended from this site. Here is my message that I got too.

OMG, I got the same message from that user a few hours ago too! Looks like he/she IS sending that message to every Fooclub member. 4 of my friends have gotten the same message....and the stupid thing is every foo user would have gotten a leprechaun! UNBELIEVABLE! Why should we be forced to hide our badge from these people?? Im tired of having to hide things around here, people just need to learn some manners and leave people alone!

well that is because there are so many children here. Friday. I had 7 messages from kids who are 10 years old. (I reported them) The computer is a good thing to have but parents need to watch their children and see what they are doing on here. It is not meant to keep their 10 year olds occupied or kept company like a babysitter. That doesn't include the other group of people who want my pet or to give them FD or FG and lie in anyway possible to get people to give it to them. the majority of the people who PMed me today was a kid/teen who only had one pet and didn't have a badge. A couple of people even wanted me to get them a clubfoo badge or to be my boyfriend.He would not tell me his age but we didn't have much of a conversation here either. Just got passed the hi, how are you? will you be my girl...that was all.anyway . My profile says i am female and my age and maybe there isn't many people here who are my age but that doesn't mean I am going to babysit or support anyone's habits. We need a mute/block button with in the message/friends section. Not just in the instant messenger we have.

thanks. best bet is to delete the messages and don't bother replying..eventually they should take the hint.
